Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

We've gathered the questions people ask us most before setting off. Didn't find your answer? We're just a WhatsApp message away.

Who are you, exactly?

We're a small family business. Igal has lived in China for eight years and known it professionally for thirteen, and is married to a Chinese citizen who runs operations alongside him. We plan, arrange and manage private, personalized trips to China — end to end. We're not a large corporation or a sales center; you speak directly with the people who plan and accompany your trip.

Are you a travel agency?

We're not a marketplace, and not only advisors. We actually plan, arrange and manage the trip, working directly with the network of local suppliers we partner with in China — hotels, trains, domestic flights, guides, drivers and attractions. In other words, we're responsible for executing and managing the trip, not just advising on it.

What kinds of trips do you arrange?

Private trips only, personalized to each client. We don't run group tours or sell off-the-shelf packages. Most of our clients are families, couples and independent travelers looking for a personal experience rather than a ready-made template.

How much does a trip cost?

There's no fixed price, because every itinerary is built personally — based on destinations, number of days, hotel level and your preferences. After the intro call and itinerary building, you'll receive a detailed, transparent quote stating exactly what's included and the total cost, with no surprises.

How is payment made?

Payment is made in two parts: a 30% deposit when the trip is confirmed, and the remaining 70% up to 30 days before departure. Every payment is accompanied by an invoice issued through our registered company in Hong Kong.

Will I receive an invoice?

Absolutely. An official invoice is issued for every payment through our registered company in Hong Kong. Full payment transparency is part of how we work.

In what currency do I pay?

We'll be glad to arrange the payment method and currency that's convenient for you. You'll get all the exact details together with the quote, so you'll know in advance precisely how and how much you pay.

What if I need to cancel?

We work with full transparency here too. The complete cancellation terms are detailed on our Cancellation Policy page. In short: the earlier you cancel, the smaller the financial impact, because some bookings (hotels, domestic flights) are made in advance and with local suppliers.

Do you help with the China visa?

Yes. We explain exactly what's required for entering China and guide you through the preparation. Practical, up-to-date information about visas and everything you need before the trip is also available in our China Toolkit.

Which destinations in China do you cover?

We specialize in a wide range of destinations — from major cities like Beijing and Shanghai, through the natural landscapes of Zhangjiajie and Dali, to the southern delta region, Hong Kong and Macau. You can see some of the destinations on the map on our homepage. If there's a place that matters to you — tell us.

Do the guides speak English?

Yes. We work with English-speaking guides and drivers, and provide VIP-level vehicles. In addition, I'm available to you in Hebrew throughout the trip, so you're never left alone facing a language barrier.

Are you available during the trip itself?

Absolutely, and it's one of the things we care about most. I'm here in China, in your time zone, available on WhatsApp every day between 8:00 and 20:00. If something changes or you need help — we're a message away.

I don't know China at all. Is this right for me?

That's exactly the case we exist for. Most of our clients are travelling to China for the first time. We take care of all the logistics, language and coordination — so you can simply experience the place without the stress of arranging everything yourself.

Can we travel with children?

Of course. A large share of our clients are families. We adapt the pace, destinations and attractions to the children's ages, so the trip is enjoyable for the whole family.

How far in advance should we plan?

It's best to reach out as early as possible — that gives us time to build a precise itinerary and secure availability of hotels and domestic flights on your dates. That said, we can also work on shorter timelines; just talk to us and we'll see what's possible.

Do you also book international flights?

Domestic Chinese flights are part of the itinerary we coordinate. As for the international flight to China and back — we're glad to guide and recommend, and in the Toolkit you'll find direct links to help you compare and book.

How do we get started?

Simply send us a WhatsApp message. We'll set up a short intro call — free and with no obligation — and start to understand the trip that suits you. You can read about the whole process on the "How It Works" page.

Does the first call cost anything?

No. The first intro call is free and with no obligation. Its purpose is to get to know you and see whether we're a good fit, before moving on to building an itinerary.

Why choose you rather than planning on my own?

China is a challenging destination to plan independently — language, a different payment system, long distances and complex logistics. We live here, know the ground, and speak the language. Instead of spending hours planning against uncertainty, you get someone who manages everything for you and is by your side along the way.

How can I get in touch with you?

The easiest way is WhatsApp, at +972 52 605 6674, available daily between 8:00 and 20:00. You can also email: igal@chinadigimaster.com.

Still have a question?

Don't be shy to ask — we love questions. Send us a message and we'll answer you personally.
