1The principle that guides us
A private trip is built personally for you, and some bookings — hotels, domestic flights, guides and transfers — are made in advance and with local suppliers in China. So the earlier you cancel, the fewer commitments have already been made, and the smaller the financial impact. This policy is meant to fairly reflect the costs already incurred with suppliers — not to penalize the client.
2How to cancel
Any cancellation or change request should be given to us in writing — by WhatsApp message to +972 52 605 6674, or by email igal@chinadigimaster.com. The date we receive the message is the determining date for calculating the cancellation terms.
3Cancellation terms by date
The cancellation terms are determined by the number of days remaining until departure at the moment the cancellation notice is received:
- Up to 60 days before departure — cancellation at minimal cost. We retain only a handling fee to cover the work already invested, and refund the remaining balance paid.
- Between 60 and 30 days before departure — the 30% deposit is non-refundable, since by this stage bookings have already been made with local suppliers.
- Less than 30 days before departure — at this stage the full cost has been paid and the bookings carried out. A refund, if and to the extent possible, will be subject to amounts we can actually recover from the local suppliers.
Please note: these are general terms. The exact terms for your trip — including components that are non-refundable from certain suppliers — will be detailed in the quote and booking confirmation, and will prevail in case of any discrepancy.
4Refunds
Any refund due to you will be made in the same manner and currency in which payment was made, less amounts already paid to local suppliers that are non-recoverable. We'll work to issue any refund within a reasonable time from confirming the cancellation, and maintain full transparency with you regarding the amounts.
5Changes to a booking
A change that isn't a full cancellation — such as shifting dates, altering the route or updating the number of participants — will be assessed according to supplier availability at the time of the request. We'll inform you in advance of any possible additional cost before making the change, so you can decide fully informed.
6Cancellation on our part
In rare cases, circumstances beyond our control may require changing or cancelling a trip component. In such a case we'll work together with you to find a suitable alternative; and if no suitable solution is found, we'll refund the amounts paid for the components not provided, less costs already incurred that are non-recoverable from the suppliers.
7Travel insurance
We warmly recommend every client purchase travel insurance that includes cancellation and trip-interruption coverage. Such insurance may cover some costs in cases not included in a refund under this policy, such as illness or an unforeseen event.
8Questions
If anything in this policy is unclear, or if you find yourself in a situation that requires cancellation — talk to us. We're human, and we'll do our best to help you fairly and with care.
